Pomme Pomme Lands a Hat - Trick as Getreadytorumble Breaks his Maiden at Brighton

Pomme Pomme’s winning streak continued throughout May as the three year old filly continued to improve in handicap company. The 22nd of May was the filly's second start in a handicap at Wolverhampton on the All-Weather. Despite her wide draw and being hampered and carried right after 2f, she travelled best and settled matters quickly when hitting the front.

Eight days later Pomme Pomme took to Chepstow on the 30th May where she stepped back up in trip to 1m 2f. She defied her 6lb penalty, making all and went clear of her rivals 2f out to complete a hat-trick of wins for her owners Insignia Racing I, under a front running ride from Rose Dawes.

Jack comments;

Pomme Pomme has been brilliant for her owners. She is improving quickly and has shown her versatility. I hope she can continue to improve as she goes up in grade.

Getreadytorumble got off the mark to win at Brighton on Monday the 2nd of June under Nicola Currie for owners Norman Court Stud. The three year old by Rumble inthejungle looks to have only improved from his near defeat last time out at Wolverhampton and relished the switch to the turf at Brighton.

Jack commented when interviewed after the race - ‘’Getreadytorumble has a lot of boot and is from a very fast family. He had a few issues at two but has come to hand nicely. The ground was a bit too quick for him, but he had a bit too much class for the others. I'm hoping it will be onwards and upwards when we go into handicaps.’’
