Stable Success: Pomme Pomme and Medinilla Score in Style

A classy display from Pomme Pomme saw the promising racehorse claim a comfortable win in the Blackmore Buildings and Design Handicap at Bath on the 14th May, under a superb ride by jockey Silvestre De Sousa.

Breaking sharply from the gates, Pomme Pomme made the early running, showing intent and pace from the start. The 3 year-old led early, headed and in touch with leaders after 2f, waiting for room over 2f out, headway to lead over 1f out, ran on inside final furlong, eased towards finish, comfortably — a performance that highlighted both patience and power in equal measure.

Once in the clear, Pomme Pomme cruised to the front and never looked back, asserting dominance with minimal effort in the final strides. A confident ride by S. De Sousa

A determined and well-judged ride from jockey George Bass saw Medinilla storm to victory in the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Fillies’ Handicap at Wolverhampton on the 19th May — delivering a thrilling finish under the lighter evening skies.

The 3 year-old filly was prominent early, in touch with leaders after 2f, headway from over 1f out, led and kept on final 110yds to seal the win with strength and grit in the closing stages.

This was a performance full of promise from Medinilla, who showed real professionalism in traffic before powering clear when it mattered most. George Bass timed the run to perfection, giving the filly the perfect ride to secure her hard-earned success.
